Karen Howard Principal and Founder, Paragon Consulting Company
Karen has over 17 years of marketing, technical and
management experience in enterprise software, consumer technology, and telecommunications solutions, as well as expertise in the Financial Services,
Telecommunications, and Retail industries. Her client base of leading Bay Area companies includes Yahoo!, Intuit, Wells Fargo, Adobe, Cisco, BEA, and Sun Microsystems.
Prior to founding Paragon Consulting Company, Karen
was the Director of Industry Marketing for E.piphany, a
leading provider of intelligent customer interaction
software. While at E.piphany, Karen launched the
Industry Marketing team to focus the company’s
marketing and sales efforts on key industries.
Before joining E.piphany, Karen was an Industry
Marketing Strategist for Siemens Information &
Communication Networks (I&CN), where she was focused
on solution and partnership development.
Karen worked for a number of years for Sprint and
Sprint PCS as a senior-level marketing executive. She
also worked in the marketing units of both Compaq and
BellSouth Wireless. Her early career was in the
Information Technology division of Seattle First
National Bank, a subsidiary of Bank of America.
Education
Karen holds a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business
at Duke University, where she focused on high-tech
marketing. She also holds a BA from the University of
Puget Sound in Business Administration with an emphasis
in Marketing and Economics.
